At Child Development SPOT we have a team of therapists offering the three disciplines of speech pathology, physiotherapy and occupational therapy. This allows us to provide a holistic early childhood intervention service to families.

Multidisciplinary Sessions
Your child receives a combination of support from two or more therapists in individual or joint sessions.
How it helps: This collaborative model directly supports your child’s development when there are two or more distinct areas of growth that require equal levels of immediate care and therapeutic attention.

Key Worker Model
Also referred to as a transdisciplinary model, this framework assigns one primary therapist to deliver the overarching program that encompasses all developmental goals. Consultations with other therapists occur regularly to update goals and ensure that appropriate interventions are being provided.
How it helps: Your designated Key Worker collaborates and consults with our other on-site disciplines to closely monitor milestones. This primary role can change over time to align with your child’s evolving needs.

Delivery of Services in Natural Environments
We believe learning thrives in comfortable and familiar spaces. We always endeavour to meet children in the setting most appropriate for their unique age, development, and family circumstances. We deliver our services through clinic-based services and home, childcare, kindergarten, and school visits.
