Learn about sleep disturbances and strategies to support your child's sleep.
The Sleep Wise Program© provides parents with information about sleep and practical strategies for managing their child’s sleep disturbances.
Taking place across three workshops, these sessions present information about sleep and provide strategies for parents whose children may be:
- Taking more than 30 minutes to settle at night to sleep
- Waking too early
- Waking once or several times a night
- Having difficulty resettling to sleep when they wake
- Not getting enough sleep.
Parents will be supported to develop a sleep plan in the workshop. These workshops are completed with other families with the opportunity to share your sleep stories and benefit from mutual support. Follow-up occupational therapy sessions can be provided at home if required.
